One year after the events of Part VI, 19 year old Tommy Jarvis has found himself revisiting Camp Crystal Lake frequently, compelled by what lies there despite the emotional trauma that was inflicted upon him by Jason Voorhees. Tommy has found comfort in the cursed camp since his girlfriend Megan Garris passed away in a car accident after they had broken up. He sometimes longs to see Jason, but isn't sure as to why even though he struggles to forgive him and attempts to come to terms with his hatred towards the serial killer. In spite of this, there is a cult that worships Jason, and they lurk within the dreaded woods of Crystal Lake. (This is an older version of the story.
