Billy Hargrove lost his entire world July 4, 1985. To him, he lost everything. He lost his girl, Mary Henderson. He moved to California, left his life in Hawkins behind to run from his past and try to move on. Sadly, it didn't work and at the start of spring break 1986, he was right back in Hawkins where he didn't want to be. That's when it all started to happen. The murders, the missing people, and his little sister having a hard time coping with life. Not to mention, Billy coping with his own trauma. But things took a turn when the Upside Down returned.
