This is the second book in my series "Defenders of the Dawn" the first one was a short trial run and I plan on making my next books including this one, longer. The Night-Walkers have claimed the kingdom. We were driven out, most of us murdered by the creatures. There are too few of us left to fight back. We need help to fight this war or we will surely perish. We go in search of a power to aid us. What may lie ahead we are unsure, but these lands hold many dangers. More than just the Night-Walkers themselves. We will stop at nothing, for we are what is left of the race of men. We few men and women who survived . I am Gallion and I will lead humanities revolution.

"You don't get to be angry with me," I snapped, shoving past him. But Silas moved faster. His hand caught my arm, yanking me back, and before I could even think to curse him, his mouth was on mine-furious, hard, uninvited. My back slammed into the wall, and I should've screamed, should've pushed him away, but all that rage between us burned too hot. The bond I didn't understand crackled under my skin like wildfire. My fingers curled into his shirt, pulling him closer before I even knew what I was doing. It wasn't soft. It wasn't sweet. It was teeth and breath and bruised lips. When he finally pulled away, his breath ragged against my cheek, I couldn't even look at him. Because the worst part? I wanted him to do it again. ----- Violet was never supposed to enter their world, let alone survive it. Claimed by a cursed hybrid alpha and trained to break the spell that binds him and his people, she becomes something far more dangerous: desired. As power awakens inside her and enemies close in, one thing becomes terrifyingly clear, he was never going to let her go.
