Covid-19 has put an end to many things this year. But one thing still very much on the calendar of UK is International Women's Day (IWD), the world event that celebrates women's achievements - from politics to the economic and social - invoking gender equality. The day has been celebrated since the beginning of the 1900s and is now recognized every year on March 8 in UK.
