My bare feet pounded on the forest floor, snapping twigs and leaves as I went. The howls surrounded my being, my heart racing fast, faster, beating harshly against my chest. I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me.
