With a Japanese title, South Korean settings, and Filipino/English language, this is one hell of a weird story. So bear with me. * Blurb * Il-Seong has been Hikikomori for 2 years, never leaving his old grandparents house and drowning himself in hopelessness. When he thought he could spend the whole day as he usually do, two siblings appeared in his neighborhood ready to bother his everyday and make it kinda eventful. With the accompaniment of dreaded memories and miseries of his past he cannot face, he has to fight his own tentative urge to just give up and let his heart rule or be stubbornly stuck in his own solitary, possibly until he perish. --- In the process of editing, so this might not be a smooth read. Chapter 1 transitioning from full english to full filipino (5rth paragraph to the 6th), so be warned. And this author is on the verge of continuing this and dropping it down, I'm still hesitating, so it's 50/50. Who knows, I might get a new inspiration while editing. If you are really loving wasting time, then this is the perfect read.

Jimin grew up in a home that wasn't broken like a mirror-it was broken like sand, fine dust scattered by pain and abandonment. His mother was a drug addict who beat him, burned him, left him starving and scared in a home filled with strange men and poison. But Jimin escaped. He rose from the ashes, got into university, and met Jungkook-a kind, smart civil engineering student who helped him learn what real love meant. Now, years later, Jimin is a married man, a nurse administrator, and a father to a beautiful baby girl. Life is finally calm. Until the phone rings. A voice from the past. A name he hasn't spoken in years. His mother. She's dying. She wants to see him. She needs him to care for his younger siblings who are seven, twelve, and sixteen. But why now? And can Jimin risk everything he built to walk back into the hell he escaped?
