My Dream - Dream x reader

This is a shifting story where the reader has shifted. The reader meets the Dream Team. The reader is going to join the Dream SMP for the first time. The Dream SMP is at the time where Dream is in prison.
They have scars from the past which they try to hide it under a mask. They want to meet Dream and understand a mind of an insane person just like themselves. Dream and y/n are the same on the inside.
The story is sort of based of the events in the Dream SMP and there will also be som made up scenarios.
When the reader plays Minecraft they will be in the game.
The story is in first person .
The reader is referred as they or them

Y/N is a young, 16 year old kid. Their parents never got along very well, and Y/N would tune into Twitch streams or watch YouTube videos of their favorite MCYTs to drown out their parents fights, or to just pass the time. Y/N absolutely adored the Dream SMP and it's lore more than anything. However, Y/N was in a car accident with their parents, which resulted in their death, and Y/N's broken leg. Y/N was put into a foster system and bounced many homes within just a year. 27 homes to be exact. When Y/N was put into the foster system, their phone was shut off as nobody was able to pay for it anymore. This resulted in Y/N not being able to watch their comfort streamers anymore, which led Y/N into a depression-like state. Y/N's comfort streamers were the reason why Y/N hadn't took their own life. The people Y/N enjoyed watching the most was some people named Dream, Ranboo, Phil, Technoblade, and Wilbur Soot. Technoblade or Ranboo was probably their all-time favorite though. After all of this time, Y/N has mostly forgotten what all of the MCYTs look like, sound like, and even their names. One day, when Y/N is back in the place where all the kids wait to he fostered or adopted, two men walk in looking for a kid. No specific gender, race, or body type. Just a good kid. Y/N figures they're a lost cause since the staff kept telling the men how much of a 'rebellious little brat' they were, but then the men started talking with Y/N.
