Beware Her Eyes

I've always compared my eyes to one of a camera. Not just my eyes though, but the eyes of every individual in this society. Our pupils dilating to capture the essence of what we were witnessing and then rotating in a fragmented motion to access our surroundings. Each lens honing in on the imperfections of each individual, processing what we've seen and then using it as a basis for our next move. And of course each camera needs to be rebooted in some way. For some it's sleep, for others it's meditation and yoga but for me it's this sense of never-ending constant alertness that came with the title of being Sillito.
