I haven't seen many Jupiter Ascending stories so I decided to write one, because the movie does not get the attention it deserves. This is a Reader x Caine story as well, I tried to add some parts of my own that were not in the movie to make it as different and orginal as I can.
With that being said *Disclaimer* I do not own any of the characters besides Saturn, and Brice I do not own the story line except for the ones I made and added myself
Saturn and Jupiter thought they were just 2 normal girls, living a some what normal but miserable life they longed for something more. Well let's just say their prayers were answered, their whole life changes in a matter of a few hours when 2 strangers walk into their life and introduce a whole new world they never knew they were part of. Jolene and Jupiter were born into a family of Demi-Gods. The girls are very special because when twins are born they acquire powers of a God or Goddess at the age of 21. They will develop these powers one at a time. The family tree stretches back until the beginning of time. When a God had a baby with a human. Back then this was the biggest sin you could ever do as a God. In punishment the blood line to follow this union would be cursed and in 1000 years twins will be born to defeat the curse and stop all the people against them. That's is where Jolene and Jupiter come in. They are the only two who can stop the Evil that is coming. The book is about their life as kids leading up until now. There will be heart break, romance and adventure. BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. "As I was walking home, a Lamborghini pulls up to me unexpectedly. Twisters got out of the car like ants and walked up to me. "Why were you talking to Ava?" Jayden asks as he rubs his fingers through his sharp blade. I say nothing and shrugged. They look at me and their anger increased. "Answer me. Why were you talking to Ava?" He repeats. "Don't know. Don't care." I say carelessly. What was wrong with me? They could literally take me out in a heartbeat, and no one would ever know. Jayden balls up his fists and makes a punching gesture. Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there.
