Five years ago, Imogen arranged Jace's marriage to Isabeau Dragonway, after Clary turned down his marriage proposal twice. Jace and Isabeau met and he went through with his engagement as ordered by his grandmother. After a few weeks of getting to know each other, Isabeau and Jace marry and started their lives together. Jace realized that he started having feelings for Isabeau which became deeper when he found out she was pregnant with their first child. Clary came back to the Institute to see if she can get Jace back. He sees her and when she runs into his arms, his old feelings for her wake up. Jace realizes that he cannot lose Isabeau and his child, so he chooses his wife and child over Clary, and he closes that chapter of his old life. Is this choice forever or will he run into Clary again? Isabeau is attacked during a mission and after telling Jace to find Clary and go on with his life, she dies in his arms. Jace is devastated, but has to stay strong for his five year old son. Clary is transferred back to New York after living in Paris for eight years and runs into little Stevie, Jace's son. While talking to him, she looks up to see Jace approaching them. Jace gasps when he sees Clary and all kinds of feelings and memories start stirring within him. Will Jace and Clary have a second chance at love? We will see, won't we.

What happens when an evil warlock decides that he is sick of all of the shadowhunters rules and laws? How long will she last with a new boyfriend and an evil warlock determined to take over the New York institute and not let anyone live to tell the tale. All characters belong to Cassandra Clare except I might make up few later on I'm not sure yet..... so if you see an odd name just assume I made them up. A character belongs to Gena Showalter also. Also, Jace and Clary don't get back together, so if you don't like that don't expect that to happen.Complete
