Children of the Forgotten

This story follows Skye, a seven year old who isn't your average little girl. Most children learn to talk between ages three and five, except Skye who never learned how to talk. She lives with her older sisters Ava and Sophie. Skye begins hearing someone call her name at nighttime, trying to get her to come to the woods. After about a week, Skye leaves her house without her sisters and follows this mysterious voice. Legend has it that children who were lured into the woods would disappear without a trace, but only children who couldn't talk yet fell victim to the strange happenings. Her only way of communicating is with writing or a language she made up with her sisters that no one else knows. So when she goes missing, can her sisters find her before it's too late? Their only clue to where she could have gone, her teddy bear she carries everywhere.. left in the woods where she was last seen.
