nyame is the younger sister of onyankopon. when their country goes to war with marley and her brother joins, she joins too in order to protect him. this gets them under marley control and opens them to the acquaintance of an anti-marley follower, yelena, putting them on the new quest to free paradis and retaliate against marley.
the people on the island amaze her, but not as much as their scout regiment, and especially not as much eren yeager does. she assimilates into the culture of the people of paradis and creates relationships with members in the scout regiment. everything changes when the quest for peace is altered because of eren's actions and she doesn't know what this will mean for her place among the eldians of paradis and beside eren.
