"1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.....ready or not here I come!!" I hid my face more trying to trap the giggles that wanted to spill from my lips.
I was in the kitchen hiding from my parents. We were currently playing hide and seek. I hid in the cabinet curled in a ball so I can fit in the tight space.
"BANG....BANG!" I jumped and made a crack big enough for my head before peaking through. I saw my mother being dragged by her hair with blood trailing behind her. I gasped and the water works started coming.
Suddenly I saw black timberlands coming towards me. I closed the cabinet door softly only to hear the footsteps stop. I waited a few seconds to come out but when I did I regretted it. I was snatched into big strong arms. They threw me over their shoulder and I immediately started screaming and kicking but it wasn't doing anything. I finally just gave up and they threw me in a van.
We pulled off and I realized there was a man in front of me staring back at me.
"Where is my dad?"

"What reason do I have to lie?" He looked up at me with squinted eyes. "Hmm, Maybe because YOU KIDNAPPED ME?" I yelled at him, throwing whatever was closest to me, which happened to be the plate I had just eaten off of. He stood up and walked towards the door, running his hands through his hair. I was surprised, but decided to push further, to see how far I could actually push him. "Why not? You've done it before." I pointed out, my confidence growing now that he didn't hit me for that. He leaned on the door frame, his back to me. "Because I can't do it!" He yelled, turning around to face me. He strode towards me, anger fuming off of him. I cowarded away from him, scared he was going to hit me again.
