Loyal Soldier Cross X Nightmare

~ Actual Description ~

Ever since Nightmare had saved him from the endless white of the void that had once been his AU, Cross had been utterly loyal to him. In his mind there was nothing worse than the emptiness, not even death. Of course overtime as he served the king of negativity he had to develop feelings for the other. In order to properly do his job he locked these emotions deep down and never once entertained the idea that maybe the other felt the same.

Nightmare had grown quite fond of Cross rather quickly. The soldier did as he was told fast and without complaint. Everything he did was done with perfection. As time wore on Nightmare came to the startling realization that he could feel emotions that didn't fall under the negative category. Emotions that might even be classified as... love? No, not LOVE, love. He had plenty of LOVE but as for love the last he felt such a feeling had been before he'd eaten the corrupted apples. He needed to be careful else this newfound love could harm his reputation as a multiverse wide threat.

What would it take for them to confess?
