Rae Green suspected something was a little off when her horrible Step Father tried to slap her when she was just six years old. Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans.
It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly tall siren, James Black, that her life finally began to make sense.
However, James proved to be chaotic and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with drinking. Rae soon learnt that James had taken an oath never to kiss a human being.
When Rae's Mother is injured in an unfortunate accident, Rae realises her own life is at risk.
Despite James' tan skin and glowing tattoos, Rae finds herself falling for the siren. Only fate will decided whether she kills or protects him.
One night, a god appears before Rae and warns her of a darkness within James. The god gives Rae the tattered Long Sword - the only weapon that can defeat a siren.
Will Rae find it in herself to kill the only creature who has ever made her feel truly exciting?
