After living a life of killing dragons and disappointment from her father, Opal the chiefs daughter of The Isle of Deathyard grants herself a better life after rescuing a dragon.
The Isle of Deathyard was a cunning and cruel tribe. They despised dragons and sacrificed everything to kill one. Opal thought otherwise. Opal was the runt. She was told she was weak many times from Vikings who were bigger and stronger.
After learning Viggo Grimborn, Krogen and Johann need the dragon. Opal takes the dragon she rescued somewhere safe.
On the journey, Opal befriends dragon riders.

Feeling misunderstood and hurt by their action. she ran away from berk and became the master of dragons, the champions and all various names but nobody knew her real name all of them just 'him' the master of dragons,she was considered as a man behind the mask. she discovered new dragons and lived on an isolated island secluded in the archipelago. Astrid is a boy named aster, he became the new heir to berk after the supposed death of helda. Suddenly a new disease and dragon attacks fell upon them and caused berk to almost fell in ruins.the situation messed up when johann the trader disappeared. The council of berk decides to take action and ask gothi for a solution.
