Eka is a rebellious young gatherer who longs for adventure. Adventure or rather, misadventure comes seeking her when her settlement is attacked by mysterious creatures that wield mage. Eka must now seek the attackers and stop them before the life she knows is destroyed. The path she takes to search for the Mage Makers leads her to find out who she really is and where she really belongs.
