Emotional Amnesia, de CAKerst

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say, "I know you're not". I have felt like this many times in my life; as a kid, teenager and as an adult. I have seen many things in my life and felt even more things that has been horribly depressing... But I got up. I stood up to walk on for another day. I dealt with my emotional amnesia the only way I knew I could and that was by writing it out into poetry. I wanted to forget my pain and forget what I was going through. I needed that cut of the blade or a pill to drink to take everything away. My poetry became both my pill and my blade... Now I share the most intimate part of myself with the world. The part of me I kept hidden in the closet. The part I never thought I would ever present to the world. Now is the time I have to stop having amnesia about my emotions. It is time to learn, to better myself and to stand up and remember the things that I shut out like a voluntary amnesia all these years. Those who are offended after reading this - f**k you! If you are sad with me and willing to cut your wrist - I know how you feel! Forgotten Memory (Editing), de YinYangCrescent

Forgetting something you know you're supposed to remember is very annoying, but what happens if that something or someone is important. Like let's say you forgot the guy your head of heels for and the supposed to be best friend that is apparently some psychopath trying to kill you. Oh and your living with the thought that the person you're supposed to be in love with is just a forgotten burnt memory which is tearing him apart to. It sucks severely because I can't even remember the damn day or my mother. I've lost everything I knew and loved. Let me start over. My name is Page and this is how I lost my memory and part of my life... What happens when hate and lies mix? Well let's just say things get dirtied red. (Is getting rewritten but feel free to read)

I know that you know but you do not know that you really do not know - get to know your 'self While reading this book each one of you will say "I know". No one knows himself better than the individual himself but how truthful are you about yourself? The biggest liar is the one who lies to himself. Do you really think you are the individual you know? Think and then think about what you have thought. Is it what you really thought? Ask your conscience because in this world there is nothing more honest and sincere than one's conscience. The two great movers of the human mind are the desire of good and the fear of evil. One should have a desire to be good and do well. Desire is the key to motivation. It is the key to develop a healthy personality and a positive attitude towards oneself and others. Let us begin by creating a desire to be good, to feel good about ourselves and others and a desire to analyse ourselves honestly. The gradual development of this attitude will surely help you take a big leap towards personality development.

Sometimes, I just want to write out my feelings, y'know. It's okay to write what's going on in your head. It's okay to open a clean page and just write all the things you've held onto. It's okay to let loss on a piece of paper with a pen/pencil at hand. Most definitely It's okay to write your trauma, only if you're comfortable with. This book is my thoughts or rambles when I did/do have those episodes. I hate venting to people. I never could have trusted them. Yet, i can write, peot, and type what's going on or rant til i feel I find it in a book. It's okay to cry. You're not alone. No one is alone You are loved by many. ~Alh

Till The Spring, de eyeshadowed

March, 2024 "Spring brings hope of love in a person's life." When I close my eyes, these words still echo in ears. I remember them as if I've heard it yesterday. I never wanted to trust these words, I never wanted to fall for her, I was okay with the way I was, But....she happened. And I don't regret it. It's been two years now, I'm getting back to my routine after 'that' incident and a re-start is never easy. I can't remember myself in what state I was for the past two years. Was I eating right? was I doing fine? Or was I sleeping on time? I don't even remember myself talking to anyone. All I could do was sleep to deny the reality, in a hope, and if it's a dream, it will end soon. With a lot of reluctance, I got up to get ready for the university as they said that getting endulged in work will make me feel better. But how can I grow past those memories when I am getting to the same place where 'it' all had started and ended. When people leave, they leave their living impressions even on lifeless objects, and it's every corner will only remind them of those from which I'm trying to escape. As soon as I entered the university premises, I started getting deep into the trail of old times, when the Batch 2021-22 struck my mind, along with a name that had fluttered my whole life. Hi, I am Nazareth Salvador, and this is my story.

so, I've been struggling for a long time now, and I never told anyone about it. I've never opened up. but I met someone who understands how I feel, and I'm beginning to feel again. I don't know how to do it, but I finally feel I can fight. I've been so exhausted. I'm not better, I'm not sure if i ever will be, but I'm not numb, not entirely. I can't say how I'm feeling, or what i am going to write, but if you want it, it's here. This is for you. For everyone who was made to be the villain by those meant to be by their sides. For everyone with a sensitive heart made to grow strong much too quickly. For everyone who struggles to get out of bed in the morning. For everyone who never could find the words to say why. For everyone who struggles to feel and for everyone who feels too much. For everyone who had to pick themselves back up. For everyone who had to parent themselves. For everyone fighting an invisible battle. For everyone who has been underestimated. For everyone who has to flee to other worlds to cope. For everyone who found other means to silence their voices. For everyone who was silenced. For everyone who was over powered. For everyone who was made to be less. For everyone who had to watch someone else suffer and stay silent. For everyone asking themselves, why? Why would you do this? What did I do? Why is this happening to me? It was never your fault.

Everyone, during some point in their life, experiences emotions, situations and adversities that changes them, sometimes for the better, and sometimes, for the worse. And then there are times when we seem to leave our body mentally, to introspect about the world, its workings, and the people living in it. Everyone has that time in their lives where they wonder about how minds work, how relationships thrive, and what makes them, them. Sometimes, it's at night when you're going to bed, and life seems just a little different when there isn't any light illuminating it. Maybe it's in the shower, where tears mix with the water, and go unnoticed. Maybe it's early in the morning, just before dawn, when the idea of starting afresh doesn't seem quite so daunting. But remember. You're you because of your past. And you're no less than anybody else. Join me as I put words to my innermost feelings, as I voice my opinions. Join me as I gather the courage to write down thoughts that run through every person's mind at least once in their lives. Join me as I break conventions, as I rant and rave my way through these emotions, challenges, difficulties, opinions, that have the power to make me, or break me. In the end though, the choice will always be mine.
