Kayla didn't even remember she was Kayla when she got thrown into the Glade, as the others liked to call it.
Some were desperate to find a way out, some had a promise of death for the creators, but her? Her journey was just at the beginning, although of two things she was hella sure: one, she was the only girl she knew and for what she remembered the only one she'd ever known; two, attitude is what's felt, even when everything is taken away from you: your past, your family, your loved ones.
All that matters is the present day, the people surrounding you and the way you react.
