"Pain is what alters our personality."

Esther was born with a pen where her mouth should've been. She writes her thoughts down in unsent letters, sketches beautiful landscapes, paints murals, and works hard at her job at the local veterinary clinic. When 4 of her friends fall into a deep depression, Esther is the only hope they have of fighting the drowning sensation. But what happens when one of them calls for attention, pulling Esther back into her own "dark days" from when she was young; the memories she never wants to relive. She cannot seek to her depressed friend for help, in fear of unloading too much onto her. Instead, Esther writes letters that will never be sent. Or will they? Who is the mysterious boy that keeps reappearing in her woods, and what does he want? How will Esther deal with life?
