At first everything started good, she thought she was in heaven but soon things took a turn for the worst. A mistake that cost her life. She didn't want to do any of it but she was already in too deep. Then again she didn't have a choice. She made a deal and she had to go through with her end. In the end, she was a part of a twisted paradise.

Choosing her cost me everything I'd ever loved... including her. I had everything a guy could ask for, a loving family, the perfect small-town life, and a promising future I had worked hard for. It should have been enough. She was off-limits, my parent's best friend's daughter, practically my sister. I fought my feelings, pretending our soul-deep connection didn't exist. When she confessed she felt the same, I pushed her away, believing our friendship mattered more than temporary infatuation. Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do.
