Money and Reputation

"Dad please! Just this once can you at least make me happy?" *sob* *sob* damn it! It's getting harder to breath

"Okay. I'll give you 3 years. But promise me you'll take care of yourself and not do anything that stupid like you always do" he said without even looking at me.

After what he said I couldn't help but run and hug him. For the very first time in my 17 years of living in this world this is actually the first-time dad granted my wish.

"Yes, Dad I promise you that" I wiped my tears with the back of my hand and bid goodbye to my father and went to my room to pack my things without second thoughts about my request.

After packing, I took one last look to my now empty room. I will miss every inch of this house but in order for me to prove to my father that money and reputation isn't everything.

At least that's what I thought ...
