It was just past midday, the sun casting its warm rays through the bright, flowing leaves. My gaze absentmindedly traced the tree line, following it west all the way to the ocean where the waves lapped lazily against the sandy shore.
It was so peaceful.
The birds were quietly chirping in the trees, the wild cats and wolves napped in the sun, the cows and sheep grazed in the open fields. Such a beautiful and serene environment.
It was nice.
For now.
(Yeah this is just a really short thing I wrote for me and my friend's SMP cause we STILL haven't started the RP and I am impatient.)

I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. We talk and laugh and she tells me I'm pretty and I ask her if she'd just noticed that and we laugh again. '"What are you doing here?!" I scolded. "What are you doing here?!" Hunter said. "You didn't answer my question!" I said to him. He looked at me and I knew what was coming next. He suddenly turned from furious to comforting. "What's is this place?" He whispered and opened his arms. I examined him cautiously before breaking and running into his arms. I cried against his strong build. He stroked my hair and whispered repetitively, "Its ok. I'm here now. Don't worry. I'm all yours."' Everyone has to start somewhere. My life started without a dad. People change their minds and people make mistakes. My mom did just that when she left me at four years old with my Great Aunt Lorie. I know where my mom lives, but I wish I didn't. Don't get me wrong, I still love her to death, but sometimes...forgiveness...is hard to give out...to everyone. 'I jumped over the river that I had never crossed before. I heard my mom calling my name behind me, but I ignored her. Tears streamed down my face. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive.
