"You must never speak to them, if you see one turn the other way." These were the words that Calix's semi absent mother had drilled into him since he was little. They were Fae's, stay hidden, stay safe, that was the communities motto. Humans were creatures that needed to be guided but they were dangerous. As heir to the throne Calix had to set an example for the next generation to ensure their safety, something He intended on doing until the girl stumbled into him in the middle of the woods.
