When you're forced to mask Reality with Fantasy. The lifted layers finally unveil the tombstone of self. The biggest cities into the tiniest pebbles The massive ideas and thoughts formed into merely something to fear. A protagonist who already forgot his name Remembers He is a Daydreamer. Which is the only way to cope with life after multiple tragedies. And the fraud on fake friends faces. Only to daydream. As losing touch takes a toll on that rotting indulgence slowly. This get's quite horrific as it goes on. It's not to enjoy but to reflect on and experience. I decided to publish the draft version, because I don't think I can fully finish YWAADD final edition any time soon. I am in the worst mental and emotional state ever. It's quite a struggle and I suffer heavily. So yeah, the polished draft kind of holds up aswell too. The final one is way longer and eventful. So, um yeah I don't expect this to get attention at all, it's kind of really mid in some parts. But enjoy, or don't I guess. Yes this was inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time. Proposal of Submission - Psychic the Saga
Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there. The story behind her claws and tails
In the world where a mysterious, government-funded organization hides anomalies from the civilians, one of their subjects manages to escape. After losing the Foundation's pursuit she accidentally falls into a deeper hole, as another organization attempts to hunt her down. In a world where she doesn't trust anyone aside from her fellow SCPs, who aren't there to save her, she meets someone, who manages to save her from certain death. Knowing humanity's worst side, she is reluctant to accept the help, but is forced to due to the circumstances. Will she manage to trust again? Or is her past going to drag her down? The SCP Foundation had a containment breach, and one of their SCPs managed to escape. Of course, similar things happened in the past multiple times, and O5s were familiar with situations like this. What made this matter an emergency though, was the fact that the escaped object is a keter, and a rather sadistic one. They have to use everything they can to try and find her before she kills anyone. Very quickly however, they realize that finding her is going to take longer than initially expected... New chapters are published on Sundays according to the CET timezone. Constructive criticism and comments are highly appreciated. Warning! As of the moment of writing this, the story contains graphic depictions of violence, which are severe enough to classify this story as "mature".
