Matteo's Eyes

Eve and Matteo had three children. Angelina and Matteo are the older two, twins. Ivory is the youngest. In this book you will get to see into Ivory's life. She is a lot like her mom in more ways than one. Their personalities are a lot alike but Ivory also happens to be an 'easy' target to other mafias. Many people try to kidnap her, many people you have already met still want their revenge. Ivory has been in love with her childhood best friend, but he only sees her as a little sister. At least that's what she thinks.

I hear the gun click. I close my eyes and prepare for the bullet to hit me. I hear the loud gunshot ring out from five yards infront of me but I don't feel anything. I open my eyes to see Shay facing me about to fall. I quickly catch him, set him down, and shoot the boy before he can run. I hit him in the knee so he doesn't die but he can't get away. We need to get information out of him.

"Shay? Shay stay with me okay?" I look around to find his bullet wound but can't seem to find it. "Where were you hit?" Shays eyes close and he doesn't respond. "Damn it, Shay!" I hit him in the chest. Not that that would help I just want him to wake up. The rest of my family and the other families have joined us by now. Angelina still sits next to Gia frozen.
