Y/N is a 14-year-old when she first enters the Glade in the Box full of supplies. She wakes up distressed, scared and with a lack of memories , just like the other few Gladers that were there before her. Her only real close relationships are with Alby, Newt and Minho, but she is closest to Newt, who acted as an older brother. Fast forward two years, Y/N is now 16 and they're still stuck in the Glade, when the newest Greenie comes up in the box and changes everyone's lives for the better, Y/N being the one Glader who's life was changed the most by the new arrival.
