All seems right up on the Rocky Mountains, it's cold by all means, but peaceful. This peace would soon subside as Detective Xavier Gonzalez of the Durango Police Department was sent up the Rocky Mountains on a wellness check to see why eight young adults, who went up the mountain for a week-long getaway, hadn't reported back their families after an additional three weeks passed. He made his way up the steep mountain and into the cabin they were staying at, only to be greeted by a horrifying scene. What makes matters worse is that he had to stay the night there due to a snowstorm which got his cruiser stuck in the snow.
As Xavier tries to figure out what happened to these eight young adults, he is faced with moral dilemmas of his own. He tries everything he can to figure out the person who killed these eight but soon learns that it wasn't a person who killed them. It was a monster.
