Another reality, another timeline, a different story. In this reality, the galra never turned against Voltron and the rest of the universe. Everything was peaceful until an Altean Alchemist foresees another empire rising in the next 10,000 years. King Alfor puts Allura and Coran to sleep in cryopods, so they can reform Voltron when it is needed.
Ten thousand years later, Keith can't remember anything that had happened to him sense before he was chosen as a Voltron paladin, in fact no one can. That is, except Lotor. What will happen when Keith remembers his past?

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story. Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle.
