Boruto is back from his three year training with Sasuke, he's seems changed, he still has that bright smile and those brilliant blue eyes he's always had, but the scar over his right eye and the missing sparkle behind his smile suggests that something when down during those three years and it affected him in ways that can't be reversed easily.
Sarada has been spending these last three years training between the last two remaining legendary Sanin. She decided after her father and her teammate left that if she was going to be a worthy Hokage she'd have to learn from the best, and with her mother and the lord seventh himself over worked as it is she decided to study and train under the original Sanin instead. Though it seems as if she herself is hiding something as well, or rather everyone seems to be hiding something about herself from her.

"I know." She said, walking confidently to her next class. Leaving him along with every other guy breathless. Boruto Uzumaki Is a senior attending Konoha's private boarding school. He has many friends, and many admirers. It's the beginning of Senior year, and he hasn't seen Sarada all summer. Although Sarada always had a crush him, Boruto stayed oblivious. Not seeing her all summer was strange, considering the relationship between their parents, however he was still excited to see that same shy, and slightly insecure girl he had loved since childhood. His hopes were cut short though, Sarada was no longer the same girl he knew and loved, she was actually far from it. She had grown into a confident and outspoken woman, that wouldn't see him as anything more than a friend.
