The news of the prophecy spread quickly. its speed was enough to reach the ears of Kibutsuji Muzan and the current head of the Ubuyashiki family, and when heard, they grinned mischievously. While on the other hand, the King beheaded the said peasant for his 'pretense' as a priest and for 'messing' with the almighty God. Because in their place, they do not know that demons exist and that, 'demons are just stories created to scare childrens' and so, they do not believe the peasant, moreover, he's just a lowly peasant, a lowly farmer, why should they believe him?
Kibutsuji Muzan already knew who's the said 'person' in the prophecy and waited for them for thousands of years.
