Eden, a paradise filled with plenty and free of worldly constraints or mortality even. This place was once a real one, a scientific marvel and a true utopia for all, but darkness crept it's way in, a vile poison spread among the minds of it's people and led the wonderous city of Eden to crumble and out from it's shadow vile creatures arose and horrors unknown to the rest of the world now roam free. Five centuries passed as Eden passed into myth and the horrors became the normal, yet there are some who believe that paradise still exists, one such person is Kane, a young man who has lived his entire life in the wasteland savannas and now one chance meeting with a stranger sets him on a course to find the lost paradise and uncover it's secrets...however dark those maybe.

The first chapter of this book began with a young boy named Cosmos in a family of six, whereby he was coming of age into a man. He has always had the feeling of being out of place in the world, or perhaps it is the world which is out of place. He has always been a Genius, which is both a blessing and a curse. This boy has an imaginary friend which he nicknamed Morningstar. He is very picky with his choice of friends, it is not easy finding someone who can match his complex mind. One could say it is because he sees the best and the worst in people. The storyline took a different route after he got abducted by a dreaded terrorist sect during his NYSC program in Borno State, Nigeria (a program for Nigerian citizens, after they graduate from an higher institution). A lot began to unfold afterwards, he soon discovered that he is just the tip of the iceberg in an entire world filled with principal actors. Time soon made the readers understand that there are a lot of higher forces at play in this novel; humans with godlike technologies and powers out of this world. Kaneonuskatew, or Kane, was known as one of the most prolific demons after his murder of an esteemed adviser's daughter. He came under the most scrutiny when it was revealed that he had fallen in love with that daughter, who just happened to be half angel. Their love was forbidden, so when she was murdered by his hand, he was sent by Lucifer to live in the church where the adviser lived. His main purpose was to be a guard and basically a slave to whatever the adviser, James, wanted. While being there, he met James' niece, who looked just like the girl he had fallen in love with. However, those were the least of his problems. Things start to change for Kane and he starts to learn about his past. He begins questioning his position with the demons, wondering how everything suddenly changed. He learns of his past and how his entire life up to this point was based on a lie created by the one he calls father: Lucifer himself. Now, the fight is with Kane, where he tries to battle what he's become and what's expected of him compared to he was and who he could have been.

They wanted to know how it was possible in the world that was nothing but desert, and infection. 0-Sa was also alone, which was unusual for the species. The Irinaut became valuable quite quickly, having found no spore infection visibly on him. The team had one job, obtain and return the creature alive, but they would soon come to find out that the cargo would be more difficult to transport than they thought.
