This story is set 3 months after the events in Brave. Merida has had visits from her suitors over the past few months but a more recent one leaves her determined not to lose her freedom. After encountering Jack she finds herself falling for him in time. A Jealous suitor turns to a magic in hopes to separate the two only for it to go differently than the suitor had hoped...

This is a Jarida fanfic loosely inspired by the 46th Charmed episode “Magic Hour”
I've seen many image referencing that Merida rises with the sun and Jack rises with the moon
and all I thought of was this episode.
So if you've seen this Charmed episode you can make an educated guess at what's coming.
This is my first fanfic but I've written many short stories and I've roleplayed for many //many// years so this isn't exactly the first thing I've ever written.

This is about 16 year-old Merida being in Hogwarts, finally having ups and downs in her life. Being head girl was her wish for the past few years, but after what she knew? Maybe not anymore. Because of 17 year old Mr. Jack Frost, starting his famous game of "getting the girl" with her. She was excited and anxious at the same time as this would be a way for her to kill time and be happy while in Hogwarts, before meeting those suitors that are sons of her mother's co-workers. Jack was wrong for picking her to be the girl he would play with on his last year in Hogwarts, as he would really have a hard time getting this one. But it's a good choice as he would be challenged because Merida is one fine and fierce competitor. But nobody thought it would've ended that way.
