Strike the Spark: Ashes

Smoke and fire everywhere, in every direction. The searing pain from the flames lingers across her skin. Trapped underneath a support beam that had collapsed on her waist, she waits for her imminent death. Yet, it never comes. A different kind of heat engulfs her body before she feels the cool Autumn air against her skin. When she opens her eyes, she's outside on the grass and alone. Moments later, the fire department is trying to put out the fire and manages to drag two other bodies from the building. Were they still alive? Who pulled her out of the burning building she once called home, and who started the fire? This was no accident, not by a long shot.
