All students had to return to hogwarts, not having a proper education the previous year. Draco Malfoy, ex- death eater, was forced to go back, the final decision of the Wizengamot. With his father locked up in Azkaban, his mother not able to leave their house and half his friends either dead or in Azkaban, he was truly alone. He wanted to change how people looked at him, he didn't want to be known as a death eater, or even a Malfoy. He changed evrything- from his friends to even his appearance, so as not to remind himself of what he used to be.

Last thing he knew his Father was at the Ministry and his Mother was locked in her room, both likely to die when Father came back...so who knew? It is the 1940s, as he soon learns, and dread creeps in. Stuck going to Hogwarts for his sixth year, with nothing more than his name and trying to fend off the curious looks and stares as a Malfoy seems to pop up out of nowhere, Draco does not know what he is going to do. Luckily he has Tom by his side...sort of...He just doesn't know what to make of him.
