I clench my jaw. "I haven't."
"Good. Then you'll have no problem following orders."
I remove my whip from its harness and THWIP it in the air above me. I feel the cool metal of a dagger against my thigh. "No, sir."
He approaches the window overlooking Paris. It's a beautiful view of the city, but I doubt he takes much notice of the orange and purple streaked sky and dazzling sunrays reflecting off the Siene. Instead, he raises his cane and a series of maniacal chuckles escape his throat.
"Your first task, Ventress" he snarls. "Is to capture Ladybug and Cat Noir's akumas, and bring them back here to me. Do this, and your debt to Emily and I will be fulfilled."
"Yes, Hawk Moth." I crack my whip as I jump out of the window, careful not to get distracted by the orange and purple streaked sky.
