I am new to novella-length writing as I have mostly written short stories in the past. So, bear with me as I come to terms with chapters and try to make some sort of cohesive plot out of the mess that is the Call of Duty Zombies early story-line and all my story notes.

All rights go to Activision and Treyarch for creating the Zombies story, maps, characters, easter eggs and everything else that I will be closely referencing. All images, video and audio belong to their respective creators, this will be addressed in the chapter it appears.

Through Blood and Ash. What's left after everything burns? --------- They warned us. We didn't listen. Now the world is dead - and the dead are all that's left. The Narrowest Days
I see you're awake finally. Let me explain, I'm the overseer, and my name is Hayley, I will guide you on your journey through this time era. Your name is Lexi, you needn't know you second name as it is useless now. That girl you are staring at is you, and you don't know anything because I made sure of that." The voice of which belongs to the person known as Hayley, booms through the room with a posh accent but audibly angry... Why was she angry with me? "As of now people are dying evidently people become depressed and aggressive to one and other. They all used to live in harmony and happiness, that was until the 'things started to raise. The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. That is all I can tell you for the moment Lexi, but know their are people waiting for your arrival, and we are waiting for you to end this suffering race." The Death Of Us
Two girls fighting for survival, in a destroyed world. A world where people eat each other and are beyond recognition. Can they trust each other? will they be able to make it to the end together? They WILL survive They CAN survive They SHOULD survive And they do it TOGETHER... or not... a part from the book: I kill one with my ice axe and pull my gun out to shoot another coming close. 1... 2... I pull my ice axe out of the head of the zombie I just killed and put my gun back in, to immediately reach for my knife, and directly throwing at a Z. 3... We continue killing. 4... 5... 6... I hear them all breath heavily. 7... Shit, my arm starts hurting, but I can't stop, or else I get killed. I deepen my ice axe into one zombie, and push another one away with my leg, to hit it afterwards. 8... 9... *Not edited* #3 in virus #10 in Mutation #17 in Zombies #35 in disaster #43 in diseaseTerminé
The End
We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way? In 2055, a magnificent discovery happen. A new race of hominins is found frozen in deep Alaska. This unidentified-yet-hominin has a unique DNA that can be human next hope for life form. If only the human live style developed nicely not to capitalism nor otherwise... the chaos will not happen. The chaos that can lead to now-homo-sapiens extinction. Or maybe the born of New-"Human"-Type?? Well, whatever it is, what will happen is... your consciousness will be different, your pleasure will be different, This world's future will be different, or back to the primate era? Is that satisfied you enough? Will you surrender and give in, or will you fight for a different approach? They are infected, they attack you furiously, and they want to eat you, it's either they die or you die. But... They can be cured... Will you kill them?
