Today I Give Up Trying brings us a fascinating story of a man who is living a very humble and nonexistent life somewhere far away from his place of origin. He is so frustrated with this life and wants to get out of it. Which of course, he can do. The freedom, power, and wealth, is just a text message away from him.
From the world of darkness, he came to this current setting in order to repay a kindness. During these three years, he had no money, power, and no job, so he suffered a lot and ridiculed by the people around him.

"Abort it." "Excuse me ?" "Abort that thing inside of you!" He shouts in my face. I put my hands on his chest, trying to put some space between us. The man didn't even budge. "I'm not aborting my baby!" I feel strong hands wrap around my throat, and the next thing I know, I'm being lifted off the floor, fighting for air. "Listen here, you bitch you will abort that child, and if you don't, I'll personally kill you both myself. I'm a man of my word. Do not test me." He spat dead calm. Melissa
Melissa: She has a story in her eyes. "You. Are. Mine." He said, emphasising each word so that they carve in my brain. "No. Stop it." A tear stained my cheeks. His teeth grazed my neck, leaving angry marks. A soft whimper escaped my mouth. "I won't let you leave me. Do you hear me?" He whispered menacingly in my ears. His mouth captured my ear lobe and sucked it. The sensation was both painful and pleasurable. "I don't love you." I uttered those painful words which weren't true. "You are hurting me." I tried to push him but he was too strong. He laughed. His laughter hurt my ears. "I'm gonna fuΔk your brains out. You'll forget those words. Don't hurt me, Melissa. Or i'll hurt you worse." He threatened me. I let the tears fall. I have to be strong but how can i be strong when i have to fight against my strength? "I don't love you. Let me go!" He left me. Forever. Finding Me
Life is such a roller coaster, and our efforts almost always end up in vain. We try perfection, yet it never works, adaptation too, it only gets worse. We always ignore the fact that what guides us throughout our whole existence is individuality; living much of a clichΓ© is always a tempting option, and choosing such a path seems relieving every step of the journey. But do we ever try to connect our past to our present, and think of what the future has in store for us? Do we ever try to understand ourselves, learn from our past, and accept that it was all a moulding process, or do we often ask ourselves, directly, or indirectly, who we are, what we are supposed to be in terms of internal factors and society itself? All of these leads to one question of vital importance in an individual's life, a question that can lead an individual to an evergreen path of self-discovery, or rather into a tunnel without light at the end: Who am I?Complete

Morose βοΈ
When you experience the worst thing you could ever imagine, how do you react? - "The water looked so tempting under me as I stood there in the dark. The splashing sounds as the waves hit the stone calmed me down and I took a deep breath. Yes. This was it. I closed my eyes and took one step closer, feeling the curb under the soles of my shoes when I stopped again. Then my heart started pounding when I heard the sound of an angry engine behind me, a screech and a crash. I turned around, gasping, ready to pick my phone up from the ground to call for help- but what met me was a pair of soul-searching golden eyes. In all his twisted glory, he stood in front of me, his precious motorcycle's engine still going as it laid on the ground behind him. His hand reached out, as if asking me to wait, but neither of us said anything. We just stood there." - Olivia was a happy, cheerful girl whose life turned upside down one evening, over a phone call.
