Izuku gets taken by AFO but it wasn't a kidnapping, since AFO was Izuku's father.

Inko had tried hiding Izuku for as long as possible, in the end that ended up killing her. AFO was disappointed in how Izuku turned out, without a quirk and weak. So Izuku was tossed aside, experimented on he became strong and emotionless.

AFO started using Izuku for plans and Izuku followed through with all of them until he willingly let himself be caught.

For the safety of both Izuku and everyone outside the school he was taken to UA, where AllMight can keep an eye on Izuku.
