Deaf Thoughts

After being told that she is going deaf because of Meniere's Disease she decides to go Japan, her home country, with her best friend. But after her and her ex best friend get into an argument, making Mei-Lee venture to Japan alone where she lays down roots.

But when she is left to fend for herself with no friends and no family, Mei-Lee decides to get a job as a café waitress to pay bills and put food on the table.

There, she reunites with her old friend from grade school, who helps her throughout her hardships. Mei-Lee also befriends a hearing man.

Both Mei-Lee and the man end up slowly catching feelings for each other, but how will their relationship go? How will it end?
