When I was in high school, Nickelodeon came out with the show "Legends of Awesomeness". While there are a lot of mixed reviews on it, I personally LOVED the series. Most of it. There were definitely a few episodes that I did not watch or never got the chance to watch because I lost the channel, but I watched at least the first two seasons. For some reason, I decided to keep a little journal about each episode I watched and what I thought about it, did something remind me of fan fiction, so on so forth. Though I never got to finish the series, I thought, since I'm kind of bored, I'll share the raw opinion I had of these episodes as teenager. So I hope you enjoy reading the inner workings of my young, autistic mind.

Weigh Out Way-In by JASaak

There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. The Dragon Warrior and the Savage Six have grown up and have become much more and much better than they used to be, even close to reaching their goals of becoming official teachers themselves. Until many inexplicable things started to take place. A mysterious yet boastful burglar tried to rob the Jade Palace, Shifu had gone missing and the Staff of Wisdom was stolen. But then, the most impossible thing had happened, which none of them were prepared for... Tai Lung had returned and he was out to take revenge on Po. It was safe to say that things have gotten tense and haunting for a certain group member, but that had to be pushed aside for their mission and focus on saving Shifu and all of China once more. ~ ⚠️TW⚠️ - ableism. - corruption. - propaganda. - past child abuse. - panic attacks. - blood/gore. - trauma. - flashbacks. - mentions of suicide. I've completely rewrote everything and not only removed the Den of Thieves as its current concept, but also Li and Ping's side plot. Everything from the settings to the redesigns and backstories have been redone.
