I was broken, just an emotionless robot with too many battle scars.
I lay shivering on my bed, building a wall up around my emotions, not letting them escape. I can't let
anyone see me like this.
My dad came up with his tool kit and started removing the lock off my door. He was taking away my haven, my only haven. And I was powerless to stop him, if I got up I knew I would be beaten more so I lay on the bed silent, hoping he wouldn't be back tonight.
