Annabeth's family was going to Maui in Hawaii for the entire summer. She had never been anywhere out of New York before, it was all so exciting! Percy had been living on the island of Maui since he was a kid. He loved surfing, the ocean, and he just had a feeling this summer was gonna be awesome. His neighbors always rented out their house so every couple of weeks Percy met new people. He kinda helped them get their footing on the island, some of them had interesting stories too.
