Maya Quinn travels to Canada with her best friend Hannah, to attend to a "winter camp". This trip was supposed to be a great experience in there life, but their expectations are wrong. Terrifying and dangerous stuff starts to happen. There are dead bodies everywhere and the worst part is, they wake up from the dead. Maya and her friends have to survive together and try not to get bitten, by the flesh eating monsters. They have to travel from Vancouver to Washington, where there is safety. Nobody of the sixteen or seventeen year old's know how to drive and by walk it would take them 66 hours. The trip is dangerous, with zombies everywhere and people you just can't trust. (Story insists of blood and some brutal stuff)

She didn't plan to find an entire group that would change her life. Cory Jenner grew up with a generally shitty childhood. She didn't really care for anyone other than her two friends, Merle and Daryl. Then the apocalypse began, and she was greeted with what could possibly be a lifetime of loneliness. That was what she expected, of course until a group wandered by, including one of her two friends.
