Nevaeah was never a gentle girl, nor was she a pushover. She didn't just sit back like she was expected to - instead she fought back and talked back. Malakai, in the eyes of Nevaeah, was an arrogant asshole who loved to test her until she broke, and she hated him for it. She wasn't a victim though. I climbed into his lap, straddling him. "Nevaeah, what are you.." he trailed off, but his eyes betrayed him once again, flitting to my lips. I placed a manicured hand under his chin, tipping it slightly up until his lips brushed mine. After a moment of shock, he grabbed my hips, pulling me closer until my chest was pressed against his. I leaned in so he could feel my breath on his ear. "I don't have to be drunk to know that I want you, Kai." I whispered, letting my tongue touch his ear lightly. I pulled away, but stayed close enough to feel his breath hitch. I kissed him again, and he ran his tongue along my bottom lip. "Nor do I have to be sober to know that you want me, too." I said, leaning in until our lips were about to touch again, then I climbed off his lap and went back to my original seat, staring innocently at him as if nothing had happened. They say there's a thin line between love and hate. But how thin?
