Daniella Evans was used to moving around to the point where she could expect things. Her parents manically unpacking, her lazy dread and the dull introduction process at every new place. So when her parents wouldn't tell her much this time around, she figures it'll smooth over soon.
What she didn't expect was for the new town she was moving to to have a lake that monsters come out of. What no one expected was for her to kill one after only just arriving in the town.
And when she is approached by the committee in charge of killing the monsters, her life starts to get a lot more interesting.
