Daniel was born with a mean streak a mile wide. Which made him a hit with the ladies. But he only cared about one girl. Rebecca Quinn (AKA Becky Lynch). Daniel's family moved around alot. Daniel loved going there with her because it would relax him just listening to the water and the occasional night fisherman. Becky liked how the simplest things would make Daniel calm down. Becky and Daniel nearly eloped when they graduated high school. When Becky got cold feet and ran away from the impromptu wedding. He understood and traveled the world and fell into the European indie's scene along with Japan. Australian and South American indie's scene. He was forced out of Mexico's wrestling scene for breaking a guys head open with a baseball bat. Over the years he always sent postcards or letters to the Quinn's making sure he let them know he was okay. But never asked about Becky. In 2013 Daniel signed with WWE/NXT. A less than stellar reunion with Becky followed, then in late 2018, Daniel made his main roster debut a week after Super Showdown for Raw, then he made it perfectly clear that he wanted a Universal Championship match against Lesnar. At any cost. But when Daniel threatened Lesnar's family. Lesnar gave in and gave him the title match that thanks to Vince, was slated for the main event of 2019's Royal Rumble. And it seems an old flame that has been rekindled courtesy of Daniel coming to Becky's aid after Rhonda interfered in a triple threat ladder match for the Raw Women's Championship.
