Darkia, Paul's worst nightmare, an engineer working in a collar and tie slave corporation is a dragoness of darkness.
She reigns unrivalled over the world of dreams and her lair is in A'Arnateth, the city of sails. She torments and persecutes dreamers, especially the stupid ones, taking a piece of their soul each time. A real living Nightmare.
But she is angry with Paul, being convinced that he stole her child during a conscious dream.
But everything will turn around when Paul dies.  
Her universe destroyed, having to die with her dreamer, Darkia will find herself in Paul's house in the 21st century in the world of the living.
Darkia, the world's first dragoness, will have to learn to survive in a modern world, in the age of the internet and the conquest of space.
She will also have to learn to live at all. and also learn of her true origins...

Using all their wit and scenes they must fight their very own demons if they hope to overcome the denizens of this world. This story is canon to the main events that branch off of the Soratki series between books 2 and 3. As such the events within here are self-contained enough to enjoy on their own but for the best reading experience read up to at least book two (Deaths Gamble) before you continue. This is a collaborated project using characters from @JamesLester126 world of The Goddess' Chosen. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Her soft skin will turn scaled. Her silk like hair will disappear and be replaced with sharp horns. She will be the monster outside as that she is inside." Whispered the witch.

Even though there's a power imbalance between the FL and the MLs, whatever happens between them and her involves consent. No cheating. The MLs don't do each other in this book.
