On the meteor, they find a mech encased in stone which when they tried to activate would kill the pilots by melting then vaporizing them.

Taking the mech back to their HQ for further research, the group sent from U.S R.A.P.U to research the meteor was attacked by an organization that managed to kidnap the leaders of the world and hold the whole solar system hostage.

4 parts Complete
Godslayers is about correcting a mistake. A mistake made by three kid geniuses who inherited a Corporate Technology Empire. They attempt to utilize Dark Tech to change the world with a new generation of technologies. Most important of all this new tech was a clean, efficient and totally renewable source of energy given freely to the world, an attempt to usher Earth into a golden age. They never asked their selves if the world was ready. Battle after battle that claimed nations, oceans and a third of the world's population within one year. By the second year, only three factions remained, political amalgams of financial, military and technological interests. High casualty and destructive rates refined combat, and Dark Tech's emerging technologies- unbridled by energy restrictions- were corrupted into a new version of warfare. The BADB Frames took over the battlefield. Exoskeletal marvels- walking tanks. These suits made the soldiers of the future nearly invincible, while giving them destructive abilities of such raw power and precision that conflict was forever altered. The pilots of these suits were almost all pulled from a previously untapped civilian resource: gamers. Suddenly, age was not a restriction. What's left of Dark Tech exists in three Neutral Zones spread throughout the globe. Three "war free" zones that house civilians who wish to remain outside the war. But a shadow beneath what's left of the world's political system upsets this balance and a secret group known only as The Keepers push the factions past their fear of Dark Tech and into the zones of neutrality. Dark Tech unleashes a new faction on the world- a fighting force that has taken high technology and martial skill to a new level. A group of warrior monk gamers that once again change the face of battle and square off against the faction's armies single-handedly.

Everything changes when a shooting star lands on a planet with a broken moon Remnant has always imagined about their first encounter with the extraterrestrial, but they didn't expect their first meeting to be with an AI from beyond the stars. - Crossposted on Fanfiction Net! - [SOME KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME MINDUSTRY IS NEEDED HERE. So go download and play it now! it'll explain most of the stuff here] After reconquering and driving the last of the Crux away from Serpulo, the Sharded's only AI has finally constructed the Interplanetary Accelerator, a massive railgun tower of sorts that the Crux once used to launch their cores into outer space. Now armed with most of the knowledge of their predecessors, they set off to land on either their local planets, Erekir or Tantros, or even their local asteroid belts. What the Sharded AI didn't expect was that the Interplanetary Accelerator would send them to somewhere far off into outer space, to the point where they're unable to connect or even return to their home planet. It didn't help that they've also landed on a cold sector of another far flung planet somewhere in the cosmos What the Sharded AI ALSO didn't expect is that this planet in particular.. had life. A ecosystem that their home planet once had before the Spore infestation robbed it away from them. but they won't be alone with their first contact, and sooner or later their past or new enemies will also land with them, and they will change the tides of war as they please. [Mindustry by Anuke and RWBY by Rooster Teeth] This is actually my first time writing a story about RWBY so don't expect much lore-accurate or story-accurate details here and there, but I may do my research here and there. Why is it #1 on the mech tag (1/1/24) Top 10 in the first contact tag too holy crap, alongside 100 FAVORITES!!(7/2/24)

Humanity has an inherent tendency toward self-destruction. Drowning in hate and hedonism, the worlds of humanity have not seen a true peace since the end of the Hydrian War. It has been decades since humanity saw any true technological advancement. Ruled by a decaying republic, for most of humanity, absolute loyalty and real morality no longer exist. This is the declining state of the Ariean Solar Year 4249. Sickened by the state of the worlds, Charleston Reeter knows he and the rest of humanity were meant for something better. With the aid of a powerful AI harboring her own intentions, Reeter's New Era Movement will accept only perfection. People believe he will lead them to a future that is nothing less than heaven. Admiral Gives has seen hell. To him, it's any day he's forced to work with reporters or politicians. There is nothing worse for one of the most hated members of the human race. It is not his business if the worlds of humanity want to tear themselves apart, provided they leave his ship alone. But humanity came to hate him for a reason: given the chance to save the worlds, Admiral Gives refused. The rest of the human race never forgave him for it. It rendered him and his haunted battleship the embodiment of every evil Reeter has set out to exterminate. Welcome to the dark side of human nature. Welcome aboard the Battleship Singularity. ...... Guts, gore and cursing galore, Blood Impulse explores a galaxy where morality has disappeared. Inspired by Battlestar, Firefly and Star Trek, if you miss the glory days of TV space opera, this all-original work is for you. Step aboard if you dare, and don't forget to leave a vote! The story is about an ordinary teenage boy who loves mecha anime like Mazinger Z, Gundam, and many more, especially The Getter Robo. One day, he came to Tokyo to take a look at the life-sized Unicorn Gundam. When he made a wish, he wished: " If only I could pilot a super robot." This wished catches the attention of a bored god ( that me). He gave him the wished by pushing the whole life-sized Unicorn Gundam down at him. After the teenager died, he woke up in a snowy forest, in the body of a 5 year old kid at the same time he awakes the 'Super robot system'. Now, with this, he can fight back and survive in this new world. "CHANGE! GETTER EMPEROR! ONE!" "GETTTTTER BEEEAAAAMMMMM!" A/N: I don't own any image, video, or gif in this book. Honkai Impact belongs to Hoyoverse, Getter Robo belongs to Ken Ishikawa and Toei Animation, SRW belongs to Bandai Namco Entertainment
