what mess have you gotten yourself into this time?
Welcome to "Sam's wobbly venture through life".
In other words, Sam's narration to you of many of their random encounters and situations in a world they don't understand. To be honest, there is not much they do understand, considering they are completely confused by the human psyche, hate the way society discriminates against those who are "different" and generally don't understand those who purposefully choose to eat toothpaste + chocolate, aka mint choco.
No one knows what Sam stands for, if the name is supposed to stand for anything at all. Therefore, they simply exist as a human who is irked by life's complexeties. Their gender, sexuality, and all the other aspects of themself that some like to condemn them for, are not of importance and simply too much of a headache to care about. They simply live and expresses themselves the way they please and if someone is not alright with that, they can turn around and walk right back out of Sam's life.

[Formerly known as One Simple Question] Basically a rewrite of the first story... with big changes to the storyline. Jace Becker is a junior in highschool who is tormented daily by his bullies- Sam in particular- simply for being gay. He appears to be a normal teenager, but he has a dark secret that only one other person in the world knows. Living alone, he turns to his passion for art as a way to let his emotions out, but sometimes that proves to not be enough. Sam Larson is a sixteen-year-old closeted gay guy who, after receiving the news of his mother's death, winds up making Jace's life hell as a way of venting his grief. He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people. He hates people who bully others for things that can't be changed- such as sexual orientation or race- especially after having experienced it himself for being asexual/aromantic. Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. Everybody has secrets; me, you, them? everyone has their deepest secrets. Some of the doesn't even consider it as secrets, it is as clear as what you see but nobody cares until everyone really does care. But... why do they care? why do you all sudden care? Are you too curious about somebody's secret life because you yourself also has something to hide? Like what? Obsession? Addiction? Guilty Pleasure? Everything is getting judged and by that everything comes out eventually so why be curious about somebody else's? People in the world struggles a lot for what they want, what they like and what they need and that is how their life is, nobody can be blamed if there are people against but why would we spend time knowing more about what you already know? Is it more than judgement? Is it something more than curious or it is really because you are interested? Its either those 3, maybe those are the stages and you are slowly turning obsessed. Mind you, everything you see in school are the faces you see only in school. Everything! But there is more that lies behind the mask and if you want to know too much, its maybe cause you care even if you deny it or not. You are not widely awake in the reality unlike everybody and the world is too fake to fake yourself as the realest and the cleanest. The whole class struggles and makes it in school by having a backup or alternative plan to survive and some of them has the saddest and the riskiest ones so what do you know? what do you want to know? why would you want to know? Plus, he shivers in fear (literally) when he is within Sam's perimeters that makes him the best client in Sam's bullying business. However, not all things are what they always seem as Sam unravels something intriguing about Aaron and about himself. This book is a moving up requirement and as a part of our Production Thesis. I'm from the Arts department of a public junior high school in the Philippines and just publishing and launching this book brought me not only joy but also pride because this is my first ever novelette (or maybe novel considering it's length)!Complete
